FAU Department of Theatre & Dance presents Radium Girls by D.W. Gregory from November 15-24,2024!
In the Roaring Twenties, the U.S. Radium Corporation offers young women coveted, well-paying jobs, painting watch dials with glow-in-the-dark radium. These “lucky” workers discover their job comes with a devastating cost: the horrifying effects of radium poisoning. Follow these courageous women as they face off against corporate greed and denial. Inspired by real-life heroines who dared to challenge a system determined to thwart them at every turn, Radium Girls shines a light on the resilience and determination of those who fight.

Repertory Dance Theatre Ensemble is a capstone experience for students enrolled in all genres and levels of dance at FAU. This season, we are excited to elevate the voices of our student choreographers. Our wonderful students have developed choreography, collaborated with dancers across campus, and explored movement vocabulary of a variety of genres. We hope you will join us for what will be an exciting dance concert.

But hold on to your tricorn hats because our founding fathers are about to embark on the musical journey of a lifetime in 1776. From soaring ballads to rousing ensemble numbers, 1776 is a showstopper with a heart of gold and a soundtrack that'll have you humming long after the curtains close. So come along and witness the birth of a nation in the most tuneful way possible, where the challenges of the past harmonize with the struggles of today, reminding us all that the pursuit of freedom is a melody worth singing!

FAU Department of Theatre & Dance presents The Frankenstein Project by E.M Lewis
In 1816, Mary Shelley grieves her lost child and conjures a creature that looks a lot like her beloved husband. In the present, Mary Lattimore tries to write a paper about Mary Shelley’s book for her high school English class, but gets distracted by the new friendship she begins with an AI robot her father has created and brought home. The Frankenstein Project is about the monsters we battle, the monsters we create, and the monsters we (sometimes) are.
